What is God’s enemy saying today? When Jesus rode into town on a donkey, the Pharisees said "we have lost". Would those who stand with satan look at our actions as a church and say the same? Would those who loath the name of Jesus look at us and say "we’re done for"? Do they even notice us? If Jesus entry into Jerusalem to begin the purpose in which He came was triumphal? Then what is it we do, that could be considered triumphal? Is the way we live as Christians different from the many whose hearts were hardened in John 12:40? Do we love human praise more than the praise of God? Or are we just working our jobs, running our businesses, living our lives, trying to get along with the world and its measures. Are we doing our best to double dip? Are we inventing a new Christianity that allows us to love the things of the world and just show up on Sunday to prove that we still are disciples? Are our expectations, as children of the light what they should be, or have we lowered our expectations so that we can still hold tightly to the things we truly love? Including life itself.
