33 Miraculous

What might be the climate for the miraculous to happen? Roughly 15,000 people found themselves listening to and following a man they didn't really know into a desolate place. Before too long they likely looked around as they realized what they had done. What were they thinking? They hadn't packed lunches, they didn't make reservations, they just went to Him. With the clothes on their back, they followed Him. They believed there was something different about Him and all else fell from their minds. And yet, as this realization grew, they still stayed. Jesus tried to leave and the multitude followed. Transfixed like insects to a light. What would it look like now if Sundays were truly a day of rest in God's presence. What if we awoke on Sunday morning not with thoughts of getting the crockpot on or what we should wear, but instead eagerly expecting to meet God.
